Catalyst Synthesis

We explore highly efficient catalysts for diverse energy conversion and storage systems such as Fuel Cells (hydrogen oxydation, oxygen reduction), Water electrolyzer (hydrogen evolution, oxygen evolution), Electrochemical CO2 recylcing and etc.

System Engineering

For efficient large scale energy conversion and storage systems, electrochemical devices for practical applications need to be developed as well as catalysts. Our work is focused on improving the system in terms of activity, selectivity and long-term stability.

In-situ / operando Analysis

In-situ/operando monitoring of interfacial electrocatalysis is essential to achieve our research goal, the development of advanced catalysts and devices. With real-time analytical techniques, the complex electrochemical reaction mechanisms are thoroughly studied. Such fundamental understanding can lead to the improvement of activity, selectivity and long-term stability in diverse electrochemical systems.
